In 1989, Porsche launched the 964, and it kept the classic 911 shape while changing almost everything underneath. The Carrera 4 brought all-wheel drive to the 911 line-up for the first time in a regular production car. The Targa version kept the famous roll bar and removable roof, and it would be the last 911 to do it the old way. Today, air-cooled 964s are some of the most wanted 911s around. Now the Carrera 4 Targa comes to 1:18, limited to 1,000 pieces, by Norev. For the garage you’re building in scale.

Take the roof off. The Targa panel actually comes out, so you can display it open or closed. It’s the feature that makes this 911 special, and you get it at 1:18. Change the look whenever you like.

Open it up and see the flat-six. Lift the engine lid at the back and there it is: the air-cooled heart of the 911. Open the doors to the dashboard, and the front lid too. Every panel has something to show.

Only 1,000 made. Norev limited this model to 1,000 pieces worldwide. Classic 911s are getting harder to find, real or in scale. This one is worth catching before it’s gone.
