In 1973, Porsche built a lightweight, stripped-down 911 for the track and called it the Carrera RS 2.7. White paint, green script, green wheels. It became the most famous and most loved Porsche of all time — the car every "RS" since has tried to live up to.

Fifty years later, Porsche built the 992 GT3 RS: the most extreme 911 ever, with a wing the size of a table and an engine that howls to 9,000 rpm. Then they did something special. They dressed it in that exact 1973 livery — white and Python Green — as a tribute. Old soul, new monster.
